Carl E. Jorgensen, age 91, passed away Friday morning, March 31, 2017. Carl was born in Pound, WI on May 24, 1925, son of the late Peter and Edith (nee: Kuse) Jorgensen.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army while stationed in Italy. On August 5, 1950, he was united in marriage to Janice Petavine at Grace Lutheran Church. They were married for thirty-eight years before Janice passed away on April 19, 1988. Carl was employed with AMC for forty-two years.

He will be dearly missed by his sons, David Jorgensen, Duane Jorgensen, Dale (Laura) Jorgensen; grandchildren, Shaun (Amber) Jorgensen, Jason (Hollyann) Jorgensen, Kyle Jorgensen, Stephanie Jorgensen, Blake (Ashley) Jorgensen; great grandchild, Kayla Marie; sisters-in-law, Audrey Petavine, Arlene Buehler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Carl was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Jean, and nine siblings.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, 1:00 p.m., with Deacon Bob Starr officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.

The family extends a special thank you to the medical staff at Ascension All Saints Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
