Camilla Keith

Camilla Keith, age 88, of Plainwell, MI passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born July 16, 1928 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Frank and Alice (Foote) Kellogg. For over 20 years she was a linotype operator for Beimer Printing and most recently for Doubleday Publishing. Camilla loved to clog and line dance she also enjoyed playing darts, doing puzzles, feeding the squirrels, traveling, camping, sewing and crocheting. She had been a member of TOPS for over 40 years. In September 1989 she married William Keith who passed away in 2009. Together they enjoyed spending time on their house boat on the Mississippi River. Surviving are her children, Nancy Bryant of FL, Shelley Miller of Grand Rapids and Sindy Weathers of Plainwell; step-children, Linda Sue Keith and Dori Ann Keith; granddaughter, Renee (Aaron) Burke of Comstock Park; great-granddaughter, Allison Burke and sisters, Lois and Louise. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and step-son Meredith. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering for friends and family will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ in Plainwell. Burial of ashes will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell. Contributions in memory of Camilla may be made to Allegan County Humane Society. Winkel Funeral Home.
