Buddy Belk

Buddy “Bud”, aged 67, of Grand Rapids went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert (Anna) Belk; sisters, Fredricka “Ricky” Bordeaux, Shirley Sandee and Patricia Crowe; brothers, William “Billy” Wiebenga, Gordon Boogard, Miles E. Wiebenga and Burt Belk Jr.; and brother-in-law, William “Bow” Sandee. Buddy is survived by his brothers, Ed (Maudie) Boogard, Joe (Joan) Wiebenga and Charles (Barbara) Belk; sisters, Marilyn McCoin, Joan Babcock, and Darlene (Ray) Boogard; brother-in-law, Ray Bordeaux; sister-in-law, Joanne Wiebenga; daughter, Debra Walenga; son, Ken George; and many nieces and nephews. He was an avid fisherman and U of M fan. He loved music and was often called the “Music Man.” Buddy’s wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services. His family will honor his wishes.
