Bruce VanTilburg

Bruce VanTilburg, age 77, of Portage, MI passed away Sunday January 22, 2017. Bruce was born in August 19, 1939 in Detroit, MI to the late John and Ruth (Marshall) VanTilburg. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central in 1957. Bruce was united in marriage to Judy Thompson on 8/18/61. Bruce retired from Schafer Bakeries in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, casinos and his family. Bruce was preceded in death by his brothers William and Donald. He is survived by his loving wife Judy, son Bryan (Karin), daughter Brenda (Keith), grandchildren: Marshall (Kelly), Connor, & Jackson VanTilburg; Shannon & Casey Bouchard; Gavin & Nathan Pucciarelli and several nieces and nephews. In accordance to Bruce's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held for family and friends at the family home Friday 1/27/17 from 4-8.
