Brian E. Balthazar, age 56, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Brian was born in Racine, October 1, 1959, son of Kermit and Mary (Nee: Wheatley) Balthazar.

He was employed with Nelson Brothers & Strom Company for twenty years. Brian was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. In his younger years he coached T ball and RYS football. He also was a Boy Scout and Eagle Scout. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed playing softball, fishing, hunting, and loved spectator sports, especially the Packers and Brewers.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Cora Balthazar, Erin Balthazar; his grandson, Jacob Balthazar; his brother and sisters, Randy (Debbie) Balthazar, Linda Metz, Jill Dahl, (Jim Bednarek) Kim Butchko; mother of his children and special friend, Connie Balthazar; special nephew, Dan Westberg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. Memorials to the family have been suggested.

A special thank you to Dr. Joseph Mathew, his nurse, Shelby, and to the nurses at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints for their loving and compassionate care.
