Liggett , Bret 1/18/1962 - 9/23/2021 Augusta Bret R. Liggett, 59, of Augusta, passed away on September 23, 2021. Bret was born January 18, 1962 in Kalamazoo to William and Barbara (Ward) Liggett. He was a 1980 graduate of Gull Lake High School, served honorably in the United States Army, and later graduated from Spring Arbor University. He worked for many years as an insurance claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance and also co-owned the Galesburg Pizza King with his long-time significant other, Robin Ritchie. He has always been extremely close with his parents and felt very fortunate to have been able to spend as much time with them as possible.
