Bonnie LaFountain

Bonnetia "Bonnie" LaFountain, age 88, passed away on January 2nd, 2018 peacefully at Borgess Hospital. Bonnie was born in Bangor township, MI. The daughter of Elbert and Lucille (Cooper) Ulrath. She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Ulrath and sister Mary (Ulrath) Doyle. Bonnie was happily married for 57 years and survived by Stanley LaFountain, two daughters, Judy (Terry Brocker) and Terry Sonnevil, three grandchildren, Andrea (Bob) Humphrey, Jim (Christine) Sonnevil, and Donnie (Rose) Kirkconnell, and seven great grandchildren. Bonnie had a fond love of animals and nothing beat out her love for her cats. Her other interests included crocheting, swimming, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, and bowling. Bonnie was a well-liked person, and nothing showed that more than the friends she kept from her 23 years working at Kroger. After Kroger, Bonnie also worked for Midwest Fastener. As per her wishes, Bonnie was cremated and a memorial will be held at a later date.
