Bonnie E. Blair
Sept. 6, 2013, age 96 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Alan and her grandson, Win. Mother of Bruce, Sunny (Sandy) Williams, Douglas (Gay), Guy, and Dakota. Grandmother of Blair (Stacy), Ross (Angela), Scott (Abby), Doug (Danielle), Hunter (Loretta), Tom, and Stuart, Forrest, and Allison. Great-grandmother of Win, Logan, Rowan, Dewey, Sam, Clyde, Rex, Ryder, Ruby, Teddy, and Sayer.
From small town Minnesota, Bonnie's immense talents took her to the Chicago Art Institute on a scholarship. In Chicago, she met Allan and they eloped. After marriage she became the head fashion artist at Sears. A consummate pianist, she played throughout her life - filling her homes with music. She painted innumerable portraits on commission. Her artistic legacy hangs lovingly in homes around the country
Family and friends will gather on Tues., Sept 10, 2013 at The Chapel of St. John the Evangelist at St. John’s on the Lake, 1840 N. Prospect Ave. from 12:30 PM until time of Memorial Services at 1:00 PM.
