Blanca E. Diaz Chavez, age 40, of Holland died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at her home.
Blanca was a member of Smyrna Church of God and was employed at Johnson Controls from 2009 – 2015. Blanca enjoyed going out to eat, to the movies and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her sister Silvia Chavez, her grandmother Elisa Cervantes and her great grandfather Jose Chavez Ortiz.
She is survived by her mother Maria Candelaria Acosta and Angel Acosta Escobar and her father Ruben Chavez Cervantes and children: Eduardo Salvador Gonzalez of Phoenix, AZ and Daniel Ulyce Gonzalez of Holland; sister: Estela J. and Afam Nwafor of Phoenix, AZ; and cousins.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Reverend Noemi Saenz will be officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am prior to the service at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Smyrna Church of God, 1117 Fountain View Circle, Unit 2, Holland, MI 49423.
