Beverly Willard

Passed away Sunday morning, May 26, 2019. Bev was born December 24, 1928 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Raymond and Ida (Vandeville) Willard. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 35 years with the Upjohn Company in their Public Relations Department. She was a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross and was involved with various committees with the Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce. Bev enjoyed traveling with family and friends around the country and the Caribbean. She also enjoyed making shell collections and creating shark tooth jewelry. Bev was known to tell a good story to any captive audience and enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends. Bev was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Willard; and sister-in-law, Pauline Willard. She is survived by her niece and nephews, Gina Murray (Dan Glomski), Louie Willard, Steven Willard; great-nieces and nephews, Michelle (Jack) Winter, Daniel Murray (Tori Ryan), Sherry (Chris) Putti, Angie (Chris) Seals, April (Ben) Greiner, Steve Louis II (Linna) Willard, Crystal (Jeff) Smith; great-great nephews, Aiden and Brody Winter, Mathew, Miles, and Meko Murray; step-niece, Kathy (Robert) Smathers; and many more great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, May 31 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
