On Friday, January 25, 2019 Beverly went home to be with her Lord. She was born in Mattawan, MI on May 10, 1928 to Robert and Cleora (Brown) Hollis and had been a lifelong area resident. At the age of 5, young Beverly accepted Christ as her Savior during Sunday school at Mattawan Community Church. Beverly was a graduate of Paw Paw High School and attended Kalamazoo College. While raising her children, she volunteered with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. In her retirement, she volunteered at the Van Buren Historical Museum. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Mattawan, National Federation of Republican Women, Van Buren County Historical Society, American Legion Auxiliary and the National Republican Committee. On April 21, 1951, Beverly married William L. Frick who preceded her in death on June 23, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Barry Frick. Surviving are three children, Robert (Joni) Frick of Kalamazoo, Bruce Frick of Kalamazoo and Rebecca (Jeffrey) Butler of Okemos; six grandchildren, Jonah Frick, Rory Frick, Jason Frick, Brittany Butler, Jeffrey Butler and Sydney Butler; and two great-grandchildren, Lukas and Alexandria. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm on Tuesday, February 5th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where services will begin at 1pm with Rev. Jonathan Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan.
