Beverly Bensinger

Beverly Ruth Bensinger, age 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2019. Beverly was born August 2, 1930 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harry and Lois (Hoare) Mills. Beverly was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident and member of the Calvary Bible Church. On October 6, 1948, she was united in marriage to Dale R. Bensinger, who preceded her in death in October of 2014. Beverly is survived by two daughters, Carol (Eddie) Dickerson and Nancy (Doug) Postma; four grandchildren, Matt (Rena) Svoboda, Andrew Svoboda, Jennifer (Jeff) Belmonte and Melissa (Jared) Stout; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, and at the church for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 9:30 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 28th at Calvary Bible Church (in the Chapel), 855 S. Drake Rd. with Pastor Bret Laird and Dan Johnson officiating. A private family interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Beverly's name may be directed to Calvary Bible Church Mission Fund or to Park Village Pines.
