Betty Kaylor

Betty J. Kaylor, age 74, of Allegan, MI passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. Betty was born April 13, 1941 in Shattuck, Oklahoma, the daughter of Benjamin and Sunshine (Feerer) Becker. Betty graduated from Fargo High School in Oklahoma and went on to attend the Seventh Day Adventist Madison College in Madison, Tennessee. Betty worked for many years, and retired from, the Kalamazoo Valley Intermediate School District. Betty was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and also shared her talent as the church organist. One of Betty's favorite things to do was spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed her family and getting time together. Surviving are Betty's 3 children: Lawrence and Julie Kaylor, Anita and Robin Roberts, Kevin and Tracy Kaylor; 7 grandchildren: Tanner, Justin, Travis, Samantha, Jessica, Jacob and Madalyn; 3 sisters: Joan and Richard Davis, Mary and Gale Wehling, Kay Lynn Sikes. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 12 pm till service time at 1 pm, at the Allegan Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Tom Hubbard will officiate. Interment at Salem Cemetery, Salem Twp. Memorials may be made to the Allegan Seventh Day Adventist Church, 229 Cutler Street, Allegan, MI 49010. Arrangements are being made through Gorden Funeral Residence, Inc., Allegan Chapel.
