Betty Gerlofs

Formerly of Kalamazoo died Feb. 9, 2018 in a nursing facility in Georgetown, TX. Betty was born Betty Middlestadt Aug. 15, 1926 and lived in the Kalamazoo area until 2010. Known by thousands of GM employees whom she assisted through the years as "Benefits Betty", she began work in personnel at the Kalamazoo GM facility before the plant was even open and continued until the plant eventually closed. Survived by her three children - Dan Jackson of Kalamazoo, Margie Hummel of Lawton, and Jerry Jackson of Flowery Branch, GA. She also had numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. As per her wishes no service will take place. God Speed Betty.
