Bernard Joseph Federmeyer, “Barney”, age 91, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Grande Prairie, Kenosha. He was born in Kenosha, January 20, 1926, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Nee:Heinz) Federmeyer

During WWII, Barney proudly served in the U.S. Army 11th Airborne stationed in the Pacific Theatre. During his life, work moved him to southern California, retirement in northern Florida, and in between in Kenosha and Racine. He was employed as a builder, farmer and retired from Northrop Grumman in Newberry Park, CA. He loved to travel with his wife Marion all over the United States. He was a pet lover and had dogs entire life. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife, Marion (Nee:Hoffman); a son, Chuck; great granddaughter, Ashley Buisse and his siblings. He is survivied by daughter-in-law, Karen Fox Federmeyer of Auburn CA; children, Rich Federmeyer of Port St. Lucie, FL, Betty Lock of Racine, Bernadette (August) Buisse of Little Rock, CA, Jack (Katherine) Federmeyer of Nevada City, CA, Frank (Sandy) Federmeyer of Ocala, FL, Robin (Jennifer) Federmeyer of Myrtle Creek, OR; 54 ½ grandchildren, great grandchildren and great greatgrandchildren; many caring nieces and nephew; other relatives and dear friends.

Private interment will be held at Holy Name Cemetery, Wilmot.
