Barbara Lynn Majewski

Barbara passed away surrounded by her immediate family. She gifted each of them with special time on the day of her last sunrise. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Thaddeus “Ted”, daughter Linda (Brent Kozak), and sons Mark (Rhonda), Michael (Dawn), David (Renae), and Daniel (Sherry), along with 14 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren and many friends to include Darlene and Jim, Rick and Marge, Judy, Sue, Lucy, Kelly, Mike and many more. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father and Sister (Kay).

Barb was active in the community by being an avid volunteer since her early childhood. Her volunteer work started with the American Legion post which included being a “poppy princess”. She was involved with the March of Dimes and was a Den Mother for Boy Scouts of America with her sons. She loved being a part of Christian Women through St. Bernadette’s Parish and she volunteered for over 20 years at the Channel 10/36 Auction. When not involved with community activities she enjoyed playing poker and board games with her family. She was the neighborhood mom to everyone and her “other” kids visited with her often for laughs and advice. She raised more than just her five children. She enjoyed a lifetime friendship with Darlene and Jim, often having night long Pinochle games. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed traveling around the country with her husband of 52-years.

A celebration of her life will take place on Friday October 27th at The Elks Club, 5555 W. Good Hope Road, Milwaukee, WI 53223. Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm. A Memorial Service will start at 6pm.
