Barbara Kinsey

Barbara Jane Kinsey, age 73, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully on July 27, 2016, with her family by her side after a yearlong battle with cancer. Barb was born on July 20, 1943, in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Baker) Ferriell. Barb loved the outdoors, gardening and mowing. She also enjoyed the volunteer work she did after retiring from Kalamazoo College after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death her husband, Don Kinsey and by her significant other of more than 25 years, Ewayne Wagner. Barb is survived by her son, Timothy Kinsey; brothers, Joe (Pat) Ferriell and John (Elaine) Ferriell and constant companion, Bear Dog. She also leaves behind many cousins and several nieces and nephews as well as Kalamazoo College co-workers. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 10 AM, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 3706 Mt. Olivet Rd., Kalamazoo, MI 49004. Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home
