Barbara Blue

Barbara J. Blue passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at the age of 81. Barbara was born August 29, 1935 in East Chicago, IN to the late Carl and Virginia (Humes) Schultz. She was united in marriage to Walter Blue on November 25, 1953. Barbara is survived by her husband, Walter; children, Kevin (Hayni) Blue, Kathe (Chuck) Hetter and Caryl (Tim) Bartholomew; several grand and great grandchildren; brother, Bruce (Kay) Schultz; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place Thursday, October 27th, 1:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where the family will greet friends from 12-1:00pm just prior to the service. A private burial will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association .
