With her children by her side, Barbara A. Jurgens left this world to celebrate her seventy fifth birthday in heaven on April 22, 2016. Barbara was born in Gallatin, IL on April 22, 1941, daughter of Herman and Muriel (nee: McKennis) Anderson.

In 1959 Barb was united in marriage to Charles Logan Osborn. They shared four years together before he passed away on November 23, 1963. A woman who loved to clean, Barb enjoyed housekeeping for her clients in private residences through the years. She regularly attended Evangelical United Methodist Church. Above all, Barb loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Barb will be dearly missed by her children, Jeffrey (Debbie) Jurgens, Michelle (Kurt) Sholly, Milinda Propsom; grandchildren, Jeremy (Roberta) Wickman, Krystal, Candie and Cody Jurgens, Kamryn, Mikayla and Kolby Sholly, Noel, Ella and Nathan Propsom; great-grandchildren, Therese, Breanna, Jillian, Catherine, and Dominik Wickman; her mother, Muriel (Don) Simmons; sisters, Mary Ellen Spurlock, Pat (Jerry) Robinson; former husband of eighteen years and friend, Paul (Janet) Jurgens; dear friend, Paul Tabaka; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Charles, Barbara was also preceded in death by her father, Herman and her great grandson, Daniel.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 212 11th Street, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. John Fleming officiating.
