Arthur Ziehlke

Formerly of Worth, IL Age 82, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. Art was born in Chicago, IL on December 30, 1935, the son of the late Arthur W. and Frances C. (Diesing) Ziehlke. He spent 29 years on the Worth Village Police Department, serving as its chief for a number of years. Art also organized the first security force at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and served as Chief of Security there for 14 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed boating and baseball. Art is survived by his wife, Nancy I. Conrad; children, Diane Ziehlke, Cheryl (Julian) Albarran, Cathy (Earl) Short, Debra (Bryan) Beals, Joe Campbell, Anastasia Osredkar and Alexis (Andrew) Blamer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Frances "Dolly" Ziehlke.
