Arthur Brewer

Arthur E. Brewer Jr. age 96, passed away Wednesday afternoon September 11, 2019. Arthur was born August 17, 1923 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the son of Arthur and Bernice (Skinner) Brewer. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Upjohn Company for 32 years, retiring in 1982. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Donna G. Brewer on July 15, 2016. He is survived by 2 children, Gayle (Bob) Kiewiet of Irvine, CA and Jack Brewer of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Karen (Cary) Christopher; and a great-granddaughter, Lilith Christopher. Services will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday, September 17th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 40009. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Park Village Pines Employee Appreciation Fund or to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
