Mrs. Arlene L. Jost, aged 82, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord on September 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Strauser and brother, Jake Haisma. Arlene is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Jost; children, Debra (Donald) O’Brien, Cheri (Chuck) Zokoe, Terry (Amy) Jost, and Nancy (Scott) Disselkoen; grandchildren, Brian (Kayla) Stroven, Amy Jo (Jeff) Johnston, Matt (Anna) Zokoe, Nate (Cara) Zokoe, Ashley ( Eric Dykema) Jost, Kyle Jost, Leah Jost, Megan (Drew) Wyngarden, Jessica (Andy Riedsma) Disselkoen, and Bradley Disselkoen; and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Robert (Karen) Haisma and Karen (Wayne) Balder; sister-in-law, Verlee Haisma; brother-in-law, Walt Strauser; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Westview Christian Reformed Church, 2929 Leonard St. NW. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Tuesday and from 10:30 until the time of the service at church. Contributions in her memory may be made to West Side Christian School.
