Ardith Richards

Richards, Ardith Ardith Kay Richards, age 67 of Albion passed away Friday, January13, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo under the loving care of her family. She was born in Kalamazoo on March 19, 1949 the daughter of Wayne and Verl (Mason) Sanderson. She married William Richards in Kalamazoo on July 5, 1969 and he survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lou Ann Dunham. Ardith was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life with great determination. She was a very talented woman as well, operating her own business designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements. She was also greatly interested in her family's genealogy and enjoyed collecting flamingoes. In addition to her husband of 47 years, Ardith leaves to cherish her memory 2 children: Solomon (Sheila) Richards, Megan (John) Ridge, 6 grandchildren: Jordan Gilg, Jeme Richards, Jaden Delapas, Sylvi Richards, Kimberlee Ridge, Lindsay Ridge. Ardith's family will celebrate her life on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI with Rev. Steve A. Shafe officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside cemetery, Albion. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
