Anne's long journey through life began on September 16, 1937 in Battle Creek, Michigan and ended due to Alzheimer's Disease on October 1, 2018. She was the daughter of Dr. Russell and Kathryn Mustard and is survived by her husband of 60 years David Hunt. Anne grew up in Battle Creek, graduated from Lakeview High School and continued her education at the University of Michigan where she received both Bachelor and Masters Degrees. While in Ann Arbor she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. After graduating college, Anne taught History and was a girl's counselor at Battle Creek Central High School until she and her husband moved out of state. When they returned to Battle Creek, Anne became an avid tennis player and later graduated from the Dennis Van der Meer Tennis University to become a tennis teacher. She also started her own business stringing tennis racquets. During Anne's teen age years, she became an excellent equestrian competing and winning in horse show jumping competitions throughout the Midwest and also at Madison Square Garden in New York City. When Anne and her husband both retired they were fortunate to be able to spend many winters in Florida and the rest of the year enjoying their home on Goguac Lake where Anne had grown up. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and older brothers John and Russell Mustard Jr. Thank you to all of the many people at Bickford Assisted Living for their compassionate care during Anne's nearly four year stay. Also, to the caring and professional people at Grace Hospice, especially Janice for her many hours taking care of Anne during the end of her life's journey. As Anne requested there will not be any ceremonies and cremation has taken place.
