Anna Laarman

Anna Ruth (Prins) Laarman passed from the arms of her family, to those of her Heavenly Father on September 2, 2015 at Resthaven Rehabilitation Center following complications of back surgery.

Ann’s joy was her family and home, graciously and selflessly serving the needs of her loved ones. Ann, along with her husband Bernie, owned Napa Auto Parts. A life-long resident of Holland, Ann was a member of Beechwood Church, and Vintage Car Club of Holland. She enjoyed gardening, travel, and wintering in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Bernie; children Greg (Betty) Laarman, Linda (Joe) Dahm, Scott (Marcia) Laarman, Roxanne (Mark) De Roo, Lori (Rick) Van Wyk, Clark (Kim) Laarman; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also, brother George (June) Prins. Sister Shirley (Tim) Brown, sisters-in-law Bess Prins and Elaine Laarman, brother-in-law Conrad Van Hoven, and several nieces and nephews.

Her granddaughter Allison Dahm preceded her in death in 2003.

A memorial service to honor the life and faith of Ann Laarman will be held Wednesday, September 9, 11:00AM at Beechwood Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Rd. Holland, MI. 49424. Visitation will take place at the church from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, September 8, and on Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00A.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to Resthaven Care Center, or Beechwood Church.
