Anna Forrest, age 96, of Gobles, MI passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Meadow Woods in Bloomingdale with her family by her side. Anna was born February 19, 1920 in Van Buren Indiana, the daughter of Robert and Zola Knight. She had been a member of the Pinedale Seventh-Day Adventist Church for the past 73 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and truly loved spending time with her family. Surviving is her daughter Marilyn Metzger of Nebraska; son Bert (Ruth) Forrest of Kalamazoo; daughter in law Nancy Forrest of Gobles; a sister in law Carole Knight of Stevensville; several grand, great grand and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, a son Donald, 2 brothers, Robert and George "Hank", a sister Norma Green. The family will meet friends on Friday from noon - 2 PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in Tucker Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gobles Jr. Academy for Worthy Student Fund.
