Surrounded by the love of her family, Anita Marie McPhee passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016, at her residence following a battle with lung cancer with her daughter by her side. She was born in Racine, October 1, 1954, daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy (Nee:Jurish) Richter.

Anita graduated from J.I. Case High School “Class of 1972”. She was employed by Wheaton Franciscan All Saints for 10 years as a phlebotomist. Travel and theater were her passion. Her hands were never without yarn and a crochet hook, donating many items to local charities and winning ribbons at the county fair.

Surviving are her children, Faydra (Scott) Mertens, Elizabeth Dehne (Luis Salinas), Jennifer (Daniel) Nettleton, Paul Dehne, Roxanne Georgeson, Renee Dehne; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; siblings, Patricia (Terry) Green, John (Dawn) Richter, Brian (Cindy) Richter, MaryRose Ramon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Antony Thomas officiating. Relatives and friends may meet Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Private entombment will take place at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Engel and staff at Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
