Passed away on Friday evening, March 16, 2018 at Laurels of Galesburg. He was born on May 15, 1940 in Baptist, KY. He was employed by Hawthorne Paper in Kalamazoo until his retirement. On March 8, 1958, AG was united in marriage to Maudie E. (Sexton) Moore, who survives. Also surviving are their son: Larry Moore; granddaughter: Claire Taylor Moore; two brothers: Buddy and Jerry Fike; sister: Debbie Dallas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Preceding him in death were his parents: Johnny and Callie Moore; and two sisters: Freida Trent and Chris Boven. A funeral service for AG will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at First Free Will Baptist Church, 630 Moline, where friends may visit with his family from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Rev. Dean Sanford will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock. Memorial contributions may be directed to First Free Will Baptist Church.
