Alice Weaver

Alice (Bibbings) Weaver, age 77, of Kalamazoo, MI went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 31, 2016. She was born on July 19, 1939 in Battle Creek, Michigan, and lived her final years in Kalamazoo, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Weaver, her parents Louis and Margery (Whitbeck) Bibbings. She is survived by her sister, Nancy (Dennis) Root (of Kalamazoo) and brother George (Yvonne) Bibbings (of Dimondale, MI); nieces, Sheryl (Dennis) Henson (of Scotts, MI), and Amy (Bibbings) Dickerson (of Lansing, MI), nephews, Scott Root (of Kalamazoo), Stephen (Jaclyn) Root (of Paw Paw, MI); and Jason (Amy) Bibbings (of Okemos, MI). Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 South Burdick. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4th, at 11:00 a.m, at Calvary Bible Church East, 5495 East Main St., Comstock; with a light luncheon immediately following the service. A private family interment will follow the luncheon at the Mendon Township cemetery in Mendon, MI.
