Alice Burza

Alice passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Lakeview Hospital. Alice was born October 9, 1963 the daughter of Harry and Marion (Fragala) Ellis. She worked in the automobile industry for most of her life as a service advisor. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed watching her favorite Chicago teams and the Michigan Wolverines, cooking for her family and friends, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grand babies. Alice was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School and Davenport University. She lived in the Gobles and Paw Paw area most of her life. She is survived by her two daughters, Danielle (Nick) Smith of Rockford, IL and Staci (Cornelius) Donald of Gobles; her long-time partner, Ralph (Bud) Elmore of Paw Paw; grandchildren, Eliana, Trevyn, Kamryn, Brielle, Kaia; stepchildren and grandchildren, Charles (Amanda) Mitchell of Kalamazoo and Zach (Kallie) Elmore of Lawton, Brandon, Hunter, Rebecca, Alyssa, Levi and Joey; also surviving is her dad, Harry Ellis of Grand Junction; sisters and brothers, Margie (Ken) Little of Fennville, Dan (Veronica) Bauer of Paw Paw, Jim (Tammy) Bauer of Bloomingdale, Harry (Emmy) Ellis of Dorr, Brian (Christine) Ellis of Mattawan and Katie (Kevin) Schrotenboer of Buckley, and Jeff Burza of Gobles; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mom, Marion; grandparents, Richard and Emily Ellis; uncle, Bob Fragala; aunt, Barb Weier; Hilda and Eric Burza, and many other special family members; and her dog, Tyson. The family will meet friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, with a Rosary at 7 PM, at the Bloomingdale Chapel, D.L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 6 at 10:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Allegan with Father Simon Manjooran officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Blessed Sacrament Cemetery.
