Aileen Glaspie

Glaspie, Aileen of Kalamazoo formerly of Lakeland, FL Aileen, age 99, went to be with her Lord Friday, May 19, 2017. She was born June 25, 1917 in Mystic, Iowa the daughter of Clinton and Daisy (McNamer) Dickey. She was a member of Kalamazoo First Assembly and enjoyed spending time with her family. On December 31, 1936, she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 76 years, Orval S. Glaspie, who preceded her in death in 2012. Also preceding her in death were her daughter: Patricia Bowman; 1 sister; and 5 brothers. Surviving are a granddaughter, Linda (Stan) Francisco of Portage; great-grandson, Michael Francisco; son-in-law, William Bowman; brother: Charles (Lily) Dickey of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family on Monday, May 22, from 3-4pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
