Agnes Oettinger

Agnes C. Oettinger, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Ridgewood Care Center. Agnes was born in Rice Lake, WI, March 6, 1926, daughter of the late Joseph and Albina (Nee: Lastufka) Holub.

On January 23, 1947 in Chetek, WI she was united in marriage to Herbert J. Oettinger who preceded her in death, April 6, 2007. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church and the ladies Veteran’s Auxiliary.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Delores (Gerald) Hanson of Scottsdale, AZ, Darlene (Michael) Duffy of Madison, WI; 6 grandchildren, Stacey (Kirt) Jobe, Cynthia (Jerome) Coe, Joseph (Tonya) Hrouda, Kristina (Warren) Calverley, Erin (Russell) Carlson, Laura Duffy; great-grandchildren, Mack Jobe, Marissa Jobe, Catherine (Greg) Wahl, Michael, Christina, and Branden Coe, Alexis Hrouda, Hunter Calverley, Haley Hansen, Joseph Hrouda, Lucy Carlson; great-great grandchildren, Kyler Coe, Kali Coe, Halina Collins, Liliana Wahl, and Izaiah Coe; sister and brothers, Roseanne Holub of Racine, Robert Holub of Adams, WI, George Holub; sister-in-law, MaryAnn “Dolly” Meysembourg of Madison, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine (Sylvester) Richter, and brother Ronald Holub

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 19, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at St. Richard Catholic Church 1503 Grand Ave with Rev. Ron Gramza officiating. Interment will follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M.
