Adeline J. Sackman, age 91, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her daughter’s residence. Adeline was born in Racine, March 18, 1925, daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Nee: Cinquegrani) Barranco.

On December 31, 1945 she was united in marriage to August Sackman who preceded her in death May 11, 1987. She was an associate member of the Dominicans and Siena Center and was a former longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her family brought her the greatest joy, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her four daughters, Janet (Otto) Fehlberg, Donna (Tom) Kwasniewski, Judy (Randall) Bauer, all of Racine, Karen French of Pineville, NC; former son-in-law, Patrick French of Pineville, NC; her grandchildren, Michael (Julie) Schattner, Christopher Schattner, Kevin (Rita) Kwasniewski, Paul (Tracy) Farrey, Dan (Sarah) Farrey, Nicholas French, Jonathan (Chelsea) French, Bradley French; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose (Gene) Bracker, Susan Griffin, Mary Balabuch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Frank, Angelo, Joseph, and Samuel.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Siena Center Chapel, 5635 Erie Street. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at Siena Center Chapel from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Memorials to Siena Center have been suggested.
