With her family by her side, Adeline M. Comello, age 97, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. Adeline was born in Westfield, WI, June 25, 1918, daughter of the late Raynold and Lillian (Nee: Miller) Hintz. For over twenty two years Adeline taught 2nd and 3rd grade students, first in Marquette County and for the last seventeen years with the Racine Unified School District at Lincoln School. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Charles (Cynthia) Comello, Vicki (Paul) Madsen, Kit Brown, Kay (Michael) Meyer, all of Racine; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great- great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Johnson of Madison; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends, especially Leann Paulson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni (Wayne) Dorman; grandson, Steven Tritten; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret (Harley) Schatzke, Grace (Jules) Mack, Hazel (Louie) Pellitterri, John Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 28, 2015, 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Don Francis officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity or an act of kindness could be done in honor of Adeline.

The family would like to thank Dr. Crevier, Dr. Turner, WFAS Hospice nurses, Barb and Deb, Deacon Eric Sewell and Renee Kirby for their spiritual guidance, and also to Vicki and Paul for allowing Mom to spend her final days in the comfort of their home with her family.
