Adam Boomers

Adam J. Boomers, age 29, of Portage, MI passed away Sunday October 16, 2016. Adam was born June 3, 1987 in Kalamazoo the son of Vicki (Garlick) and William Boomers. Adam was in the restaurant business and was working with Q It Up. He was a funny and outgoing person and enjoyed learning about craft beers so that his patrons could be fully informed on their choice of beverage. Adam was a proud uncle and very much enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also liked playing disc golf and playing guitar. He is survived by his mother, Vicki (Russell) Smith; father, William Boomers; grandparents, Al (Bonnie) Garlick; sisters, Amy Jacobson, Kelly Boomers, Autume Smith, Ashleigh Smith; nieces and nephews, Drew, Brady, Dylan, Hannah, and Olivia; and his girlfriend, Heather Burr. A memorial gathering will be held from 4-7pm Saturday, October 22 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Memorials may be directed to the Gryphon Place.
