It was easy to love Aaron Abramson. A man of many strengths, one of his foremost qualities were found in his never ending kindness. Aaron was a sensitive soul and always considered the feelings of others with the sweetest nature. His compassion and willingness to help others was admired by all who knew him. Although Aaron’s time with those he loved was all too brief, comfort can be found knowing he lived fully and loved completely at every opportunity. Dearly missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched with ways all his own.

Nothing could have brought Richard Abramson and Donna Canfield of Garden City, Michigan greater joy on August 25, 1993 than welcoming their bundles of baby boy, Aaron David and Matthew Dale Abramson into their arms. During this time, Bill Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States, and Beanie Babies made their popular debut. Jurassic Park took movie theaters by storm while Mariah Carey was at the top of the music charts. From their birth into their earliest years and beyond, twin brothers, Aaron and Matthew shared an undeniable, close bond.

Young Aaron experienced a typical childhood of his generation where he shared numerous adventures with his brother and friends. As a child he began his love of NASCAR, particularly Jeff Gordon, and played little league baseball. His father was a painter by trade while his mother worked as a nurse’s aide.

Aaron attended the local schools until the age of seven when he began living with his grandparents, Helen and James Haynes. He went on to spend his childhood growing up along the clear, northern Michigan waters of Glen Lake near the Sleeping Bear Dunes where he enjoyed all the area had to offer. Aaron loved swimming in Glen Lake and as always, his puppy Freckles was always by his side. During his teen years he held fond memories of everything his grandfather taught him, especially the time they worked on their jet ski together. Great times were also shared going to Pictured Rocks with his grandmother and brother, and attending his beloved University of Michigan football games. Aaron continued his love of NASCAR and was also a fan of golf legend, Tiger Woods.

Spending time with friends was important to Aaron, but family remained close to his heart. He had a smile that could light up a room, and it brightened the gloomiest of days. Following high school, Aaron started working as a prep cook before landing a job in construction. He liked working with his hands and learning as much as he could about the building trade. But there was another reason Aaron liked his work so well, and her name was Kristen Karpinski. They met at work, and from the very moment Aaron and Kristen met, they knew they were in love. Nearly inseparable, their love grew into a proposal of marriage and before long they were happily married. Counted as the best day of their lives, they went on to enjoy a memorable honeymoon in Florida at Disney World.

After their honeymoon, Aaron and Kristen set-up house, beginning their new lives together as husband and wife. They shared a genuine, deep abiding love that was clear for all to see. Together the happiest place they ever experienced was found in each other's arms. It also goes without saying that Aaron held a special place in his heart for his kitty, Sassy, too. He loved that little girl and even played with her as if she was actually a child of his own.

Aaron appreciated Kristen in so many ways, and he always kissed her each time she cooked or did something special for him. In her, Aaron found true, unconditional love for which he was ever thankful and grateful. He found such happiness when by her side, and considered himself blessed. Aaron also spent a good deal of time with his twin brother, Matthew. Every time the two of them were together it was sure to be a great time.

It was naturally in Aaron’s nature to think of others, and often times before himself. He was sensitive, kind, and his love for Kristen knew no bounds. His strength of heart and sweet ways was indeed a blessing to all he encountered. As he began to embark on a new and exciting chapter in his life, filled with all things hoped and wished for, Aaron was taken from love’s embrace much too soon. He will be deeply missed and remembered as a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, husband, and friend, but may his love be what is remembered most.

Aaron David Abramson passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the age of 22. He was the beloved husband of Kristen Karpinski; loving son of Richard Abramson and Donna Canfield; best friend and twin brother of Matthew Dale Abramson; cherished cousin of Evan and Leah Conley; nephew of Bob Conley; dearest son-in-law of Richard and Judith Karpinski; dear brother-in-law of Lori Karpinski and Richard Karpinski, Jr. Visitation with Aaron’s family and friends will be on Monday, September 21 from 2-9 pm with a 7:00 pm service at the Neely-Turowski Life Story Funeral Home, 45100 Warren Road (between Sheldon and Canton Center Rd). Interment Tuesday, September 22, 2:00 pm in St. Philips Neri Catholic Cemetery in Empire, Michigan.
