Joanna Faye Anderson, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA, March 9, 1940 daughter of the late Horace and Dorothy (Nee: Stephens) Daigle.
Joanna was employed by Shepherd Ministries and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. Above all she treasured time spent with her family.
Surviving are her seven children, Mitch (Cheryl), Carol, Rustine, Daniel, Damon, Jacob, and Joseph (Kat); 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marie, Barbara, and Sue; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 9122 Durand Ave, Sturtevant, Tuesday, May 27, 2014, with Reverend Richard C. Rogers officiating. Relatives and friends may meet at 2:00 P.M. with service at 2:30 P.M.
