Life Story / Obituary
Burnal A. Biamont, age 94, of Kankakee, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. He was born on October 31, 1919 in Clifton, IL the son of Eugene and Amy Biamont. On February 14, 1942 in L’Erable, IL he married Eileen Jensen. Burnal and Eileen farmed in the Ashkum area for many years, retiring in 1983. They then moved into Kankakee where they spent the remainder of their years. Burnal was a member of the Bradley Moose Lodge, the American Legion in Watseka, IL, and St. Rose Catholic Church in Kankakee, IL.
He is survived by a bother-in-law Kenneth Schoon of Ashkum, IL and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Burnal was preceded in death by his wife Eileen, parents Eugene and Amy Biamont,, a sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Vernon Schuler and a sister-in-law Betty Schoon.
A time of gathering will take place on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 10am until the time of mass at 11am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Kankakee, IL. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery in L’Erable, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Hospice of Kankakee Valley would be appreciated.
