Roseannah L. Keith, 87, of Grawn, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Tendercare Health Center - Birchwood.

Roseannah was born on June 8, 1926 in Grawn, Michigan to Ulna Harger and Bernice (Hessem) Harger. On February 25, 1946 Roseannah married LaVerne Keith in Traverse City.

She worked at Montgomery Ward's for 15 years, did Daycare for many years in her home and also worked for Blair Township. Roseannah was a very generous person who took great joy in helping others. She was very active in her community. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary, Grawn Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Buckley Old Engine Club, TOPS and Chat and Chew Bunco Club. Roseannah was proud of the many years she worked as an election official. She was an avid camper and in her younger years enjoyed Deer Hunting in the Upper Peninsula with LaVerne. She loved gardening and doing anything outside.

Roseannah is survived by her daughter; Pamela (John) Hamstra of Traverse City; grandson, Jason (Rebecca) Hamstra of Metamora; the loves of her life, great-granddaughters, Kaitlynd and Alexis Hamstra; sister; Willo (Cal) Spangler of Grawn; brother, Caroll (Lucille) Harger of Manton; special cousin, Sharon Hott of Grawn; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by husband; LaVerne Keith in 2008; her parents and an infant sister.

Roseannah's family would like to thank the entire staff at Birchwood for the excellent care and loving kindness she received during her time there. She thought of you all as her extended family.

Memorial services will be held 1pm, Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Grawn United Methodist Church; where the family will greet friends one hour prior.
