Betty Abramowski

ABRAMOWSKI, BETTY ANN Betty Ann Abramowski aged 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was reunited with her husband Joseph, whom preceded her in death in 1996. Betty was also preceded by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Kolanowski. She was born October 22, 1939 in Manistee, Michigan and attended St. Joseph High School in Manistee. Betty is survived by her children, Teresa and Thomas Muszynski, Michael and Kara Abramowski, Timothy Abramowski; her grandchildren, T.J. Muszynski, Tyler Muszynski, Jesse Abramowski, Emery Abramowski, and Mayce Abramowski. Betty is also survived by her brother, Jerome and Chris Kolanowski; her brother-in-law, Harry and Janet Abramowski; and her sisters-in-law, Rosie Musculus, Audery Abramowski, Lorraine Abramowski, Betty dedicated over 20 years to Witmark until their closing in 1997. She was a beloved member of Blessed Sacrament Parish for 49 years, as well as an original member of West Michigan New Horizons Music Ensembles playing the French horn. She will be greatly missed. Please join the family for visitation on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9pm with a Rosary Service at 8pm. An additional visitation from 10-11am will precede the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament (2275 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). Interment will take place at 2:30pm on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Holy Cross Cemetery.
