Mary Ann Slayer, age 86, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2012 at Lakeside Vista of Holland.
Mary enjoyed her family and friends for many years. She was married to her husband, Karl Slayer, for 26 years until his death in 2007.
Surviving are her children, Betsy and John Bertalan of Conifer, Colorado; Ted and Mary Jo Koppenaal of Zeeland and their children, John and Mark; Kim and Diane Slayer of South Haven and their children, Lindsay Slayer, Chris and Megan Herrick, Joe Herrick, Elizabeth and Junior Avalos, Ben Herrick, Monica Herrick, and Therese Herrick; Jeff and Bet Slayer of Fennville and their daughter, Katie Slayer. There are 5 great-grandchildren and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at First Congregational Church of Saugatuck, 296 Hoffman St, Saugatuck, MI 49453. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow. Reverend Rob Brink will be officiating. Inurnment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Holland.
