William Rieck

William H. "Billy" Rieck, 70, of Duck, WV, formerly of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away April 18, 2014 at home. He was born January 28, 1944 in Mount Clemens, MI a son of Velma Leggett Rieck of Mount Clemens, MI and the late Ross Rieck. He was retired from Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI after a successful career in IT and financial systems. He graduated from Bowling Green State University and received his master's degree from Western Michigan University. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was enjoying his retirement as a gentleman farmer. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by sons, Tony Rieck and wife, Amy, of Salem, OH and Kelly Rieck and wife, Allison, of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan and Banyan; brother, Burton Rieck of Mount Clemens, MI; sister, Bonnie Kimmel of San Antonio, TX.
