Vaughn Zidell

Vaughn Zidell (Ph.D., Physics) spent more than two decades as teacher and practitioner of physics, working for a variety of aerospace institutions, colleges and universities from the late 1970's to the early 2000's. He had a great love for the physical and natural world, and enjoyed caving, hiking, and later in life, gardening. He had an insatiable appetite for learning and knowledge, and utilized his intellectual and exploratory prowess to solve complex scientific problems early in his career all the way to perfecting the perfect tomato for summer harvest during his final years. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son that knew no boundary for seeking knowledge.
