Caroline (DeHamer) Blain

BLAIN, CAROLINE Caroline (De Hamer) Blain, age 97, of Byron Center, passed away and began a new journey on Friday, April 18, 2014. Caroline loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed fishing, bowling, cooking, sewing and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherill "Tony"; and sister, Phyllis De Hamer. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Thomas Blain, Cheryl Blain, and Marcia and Thomas Miller; grandchildren, Paul and Jill Miller, Toni and Robert Hunt, Brett Blain, Marc Miller, Aimee and John Noel; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Jacqueline Saunders; nephew, Mark and Susan Saunders; niece, Mary Anne Magin; special relatives, Jo (Cookie) Harding, Ruth Flannery; and her multiple furry companions. The funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 22, at Stroo Funeral Home. Interment in Blain Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Spectrum Health Hospice.
