Zyla Mae Brown, age 83, of Holland, passed away Friday April 18, 2014 at Resthaven Care Center.
Zyla enjoyed siting at the beach and was a caregiver for her family for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1990.
Surviving are her children, Alan and Linda Stadick of Holland and Janean and Dave Ballock of Scotts, MI; grandchildren, Shelly and Steve Szapanos and Lori Flagg and Dan Ballock; great grandchildren, Jacob and Samantha; brothers and sisters, Richard and Donna Harrington of Hart, MI, Larry and Francis Harrington of Texas, and Leah Harshey of Lansing, MI; brother-in-law, Kenny De Long of Owosso, MI, and nephews and nieces.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
No visitation is scheduled.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Make a Wish Foundation, or Hospice of Holland.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel.
