Josephine (Papa) Anderson

ANDERSON, JOSEPHINE Mrs. Josephine V. Anderson (nee Papa), age 93, of Grand Rapids, went to be with Lord Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Palmer "Andy" Anderson; her daughter, Phyllis R. Huver; grandchildren: Michele Huver, Paul Huver and Jillisa (Dan) Fitzgerald; great-grandsons, Daniel and Thaddeus Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Thomas Huver and her siblings, Peter Papa, Grace Pellerito, Andrew Papa, Marie Chirco, Anthony Papa, Rose Selvaggio, Carmela Raimondo, Catherine Occhipinti and her parents, Vincent and Mary Papa. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial and Committal will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 AM. She will repose one hour prior at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive visitors Monday, 4-7 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary, 937 Michigan NE. A Rosary will be prayed Monday at 6 PM. Memorial contributions to St. Alphonsus Building Campaign Fund or Grace Hospice will be appreciated.
