Rosemary White

Rosemary White, 77, of Irwin passed away at Riverside Medical Center April 9, 2014. She was born the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Thomas) Gagnon July 2, 1936 in Marenisco, MI. Rosemary married Donald White, September 4, 1955 and he passed away April 17, 2007.

Mrs. White was a homemaker and a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1954-1956, she was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, collecting butterflies and hummingbirds, loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and together with her husband enjoyed spending time in their garden.

Rosemary is survived by her children: Debra Van Gilder of Buckingham, Mary Kibbons (John Tollard) of Osh Kosh, WI and Donald White, Jr of Irwin; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister Patricia Grosskeutz of Vesper, WI and brother Phillip Gagnon of Wakefield, MI and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son in law Vernon Van Gilder.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation and burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Society.
