Gordon Bartholomew

BARTHOLOMEW, GORDON J. Gordon J. Bartholomew, age 86, of Grand Rapids passed away on April 13, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Glenna Underhill. Gordon is survived by his wife, Margy; children, Susan (Larry) Bouma, David (Patti) Bartholomew, Julie Bartholomew; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Judy) Bartholomew; brothers-in-law, Don Bronkema and Doug (Beth) Bronkema. Gordon was a loyal 35 year employee of Gordon Food Service where he was known as "Barth" to his customers and co-workers. Gordon was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a Golden K Kiwanis member. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton SE. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at the funeral chapel at 11:00am, with Rev. Jon Sherrill officiating. Interment at Rosedale Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Golden K Kiwanis.
