Jake Vanden Bosch, age 93, of Holland died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Holland Hospital.
Jake was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Zeeland and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was employed at Holland Transplanter for many years. He enjoyed hunting and small engine repair.
He is survived by his wife Judy of 32 years.
Sisters and brother: Connie and Bernie Velthouse of Holland, MI, Hilda and Maynard Vander Yacht of Omaha, NE, Harold and Linda Vanden Bosch of White Cloud; sister-in-law: Mrs. Dora Vander Hulst of Allendale; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland.
Reverend Bernard Mulder will be officiating.
Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM prior to the service at the chapel.
