Passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2014 in Kalamazoo. Evelyn was born July 6, 1929 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Walter and Mary (O'Rouke) Howell. She was a member of Saint Joseph and St. Mary's Catholic Churches. Evelyn is survived by the love of her life, Paul, to whom she was married for 64 years. Also surviving are two children, Connie and Brian Pavey, Paul Jr. and Cindy Cusano, all of Kalamazoo; brother, Buster Howell of Florida; sister, Dorothy Tardy of Kalamazoo. Friends will be received for visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001 from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday, April 16th, until Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, by Fr. Michael Hazard celebrant. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to S.W. Michigan Cancer Center or The Leukemia Assoc. Arrangements made by Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
